Holiday Card Project

I began this project to share a holiday gift with great people that have crossed my path; friends, colleagues, collectors, and art enthusiasts who aren't able to buy art. I often consider who has access to my art, and these cards are a way to share my work and make folks smile. Every year, the theme is the same – a female figure holding a bottle or drinking something in celebration or ironic frustration. I print them on either fabric patterns that I design, magazine pages or other promotional material that I receive in the mail. I leaf through stacks of these magazines and select ones that I think would serve as an interesting background. If I am sending out 55 cards I will usually print about 100, signing and mailing the ones which printed the best. By buying one you will be added to the yearly holiday card list. Note cards vary by year.
